Course
Description
This two day competency-based training course is designed to
educate EMS personnel to qualify to teach the
Florida Ambulance Strike Team/Task Force
Leader Course.
Target Audience
EMS/Fire Chiefs, EMS/Fire Training Officers, Community College and
Vocational Center Faculty
Course Prerequisites
> Florida Certified EMT or Paramedic
> Successful completion of
o NIMS 700
o ICS 100 & ICS 200
o HAZMAT Awareness Course
o WMD Awareness Course
> A minimum of two years experience in an EMS Leadership position
> Successful completion of ICS 300 & ICS 400 is desirable
> Completion of Florida Ambulance Strike

FREE - Pre-registration Required Development and Presentation of this course has been funded
by the Florida Department of Health, through a grant from the
Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response
of the United States Department of Health and Human Services.
Cancellations and Refunds
It is the policy of the Emergency Medicine Learning and Resource
Center to give a refund only if the request is made in writing to
the conference registrar 3 (three) weeks prior to the course.
For all cancellations an administrative fee of $75.00 will be
retained. You may send a substitute from your organization.
